BURBANK - February 13, 2008 - NBC will resume the broadcast of many of its scripted series in April with new original episodes following the settlement of the Writers Guild of America strike, including "The Office," "30 Rock," "My Name Is Earl," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," among other programs, it was announced by Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, and Marc Graboff, Co-Chairman, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios.

The list of comedies and dramas includes: "My Name Is Earl" (Thursdays, 8-8:30 p.m. ET), which will return with a one-hour episode on Thursday, April 3; the Emmy Award-winning "30 Rock" (Thursdays, 8:30-9 p.m. ET) will begin on Thursday, April 10; likewise, the Emmy-winning "The Office" (Thursdays, 9-9:30 p.m. ET) also resumes with new episodes on Thursday, April 10; and "Scrubs" (Thursdays, 9:30-10 p.m. ET) will come back with original episodes beginning Thursday, April 10.

"ER" (Thursdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) also will come back on Thursday, April 10 with new episodes following the complete run of "Lipstick Jungle," which concludes on March 20.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (Tuesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) will return with fresh episodes on Tuesday, April 15. "Law & Order" (Wednesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) resumes with original episodes on Wednesday, April 23. Meanwhile, "Medium" (Mondays, 10-11 p.m. ET) continues in originals.

Specific plans for other NBC scripted series are currently being determined and will be announced later.

Widząc ilości tych epizodów zaczynam odnosić wrażenie, że cały ten strajk to była jedna wielka MEDIALNA LIPA.

Jak już zostało powiedziane wcześniej scenarzyści dostali przez to po tyłku, no ale i widzowie też. Czy była to medialna lipa, jak to określiłeś, nie wiem. Wiem jedno, że przez to wszystko wiele seriali sobie poczeka na start trochę dłużej. Zresztą widać to w różnych - sprzecznych ze sobą informacji. A propos informacji. dziś w radio słyszałem, że mają strajkować aktorzy serialowi. Ciekawe, czy to tylko kolejna podpucha dziennikarzy, czy rzeczywiście coś wisi w powietrzu.

Strajk strajkiem ale zapewne w czasie jego trwania scenarzyści pisali scenariusze, które jednak nie były przesyłane dalej. Teraz mogą to zrobić wcześniej zapewne nanosząc jakieś poprawki.

Co do aktorów to była już chyba nawet tutaj mowa że kończy się im kontrakt wraz z końcem czerwca. Na razie nie rozpoczęli rozmów na temat nowych warunków więc na tę chwilę można powiedzieć że szykuje się kolejny strajk. Ale zawsze może być tak że dogadają się tak szybko jak reżyserzy .

O tym, że aktorzy planują strajkować wiadomo od dawna, już w zeszłym roku o tym się mówiło jak scenarzyści swój rozpoczęli.
Trzeba czekać, a nie od razu zakładać najgorsze.

FOX has overhauled its spring lineup as new episodes of "House," "Bones," "'Til Death" and "Back to You" will join its schedule in April.

To make room for said additions, newcomer "Canterbury's Law" will now premiere Monday, March 10 at 8:00/7:00c leading into the time period premiere of "New Amsterdam" at 9:00/8:00c. The former will wrap its run on April 7 while "Amsterdam" will close up shop on April 14.

Then on Monday, April 14 at 8:00/7:00c look for the first of six original episodes of "Bones." The series will then be joined by the first of four "House" originals at 9:00/8:00c starting April 28. Both series will conclude their seasons on May 19.

Meanwhile, "'Til Death" and "Back to You" will return with the first of five new episodes on Wednesday, April 16 at 8:00/7:00c and 8:30/7:30c, respectively. The pair will take over for "The Moment of Truth," which will wrap its spring run on April 2 before returning on Thursday, June 12.

Over on Thursdays, "Don't Forget the Lyrics" will air its season finale on May 8 while "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" will close its season with a two-hour finale on May 15.

And finally, "24," as previously announced, is not anticipated to return until January 2009.

Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays remain unchanged.

THE BIG BANG THEORY, which was recently renewed for next season, is averaging 8.36 million viewers. With original episodes, it has improved last year's Monday (8:30-9:00 PM) time period by +15% in adults 18-49 and +5% in viewers.

The critically acclaimed HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, averaging 8.02 million viewers, will shift to THE BIG BANG THEORY'S former Monday 8:30 PM time period when it returns with new episodes on the same night.
