Ausiello: It all depends on when the strike ends. If it ends in the next month or so, there's a good chance all 16 episodes will still air this season. If it goes on longer than that, the back eight would most likely be grouped in with next season's 16. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Ausiello: They both made the pre-strike cut — but just barely. Sources confirm that Watros and Perrineau will show up in Episode 8. And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they're both somehow involved in the mini cliff-hanger that Team Darlton's been teasing.

As always my opinion is after the dashes.

1) Alex will get some sort of flashback episode and will question Ben about her Mother

-- oooOOoo a FB for Alex...?? I have been hoping for a FB for Danielle that I never even thought about this possibility, but I like it...!! Of course more of Ben is always a good thing...!!

2) Karl is seen in the first two episodes and the writers will try to explain his back story and the effects that Room 23 had on him

-- Effects of Rm 23...ummm he was brainwashed...!! Well Rm 23 is still on of the freakiest things ever to be shown on LOST and gettin a little explanation on what happened to Karl is great to hear!

3) Claire will find out that Jack's her brother but from someone other then Jack

-- Woot we knew Claire would find out and well it seemed logical it would be someone other than Jack....hmmm perhaps CS alive...lol...the big question is will Jack be there as well or will Claire be the only one to find out...??

4) The end of episode 7 will be one of the "game changers" this season however it may not be this episode since the filming is not being done in chronological order.

-- Well it seems like this "game changer" will occur at the end of episode 7 because that is what Jorge Garcia pretty much said in his blog

5) Some Losties will go to "Othersville" while others will explore the island

-- For all you spoiler lovers....this was something that one of DarkUFO's sources also provided to him....so perhaps the source is right about Kate finding Hurley in Juliet's closet. WTF he is doing there in the first place who knows...??

6) You will meet the people behind the cover up of Flight 815

-- Whoooaaa this is an interesting one...not shocking, because I assumed that there was a cover up and that it was Widmore's people who perhaps are connected to the freighter people. At least this pretty much confirms it was a cover up and that the Lostie are NOT stuck in you know ummm...Puuurr....

7) Juliet's flashback episode will be about her time on the island and her mark of shame

-- Well doesn't seem too exciting plus didn't her mark occur in present time on the island...?? Perhaps this just means we will learn more about what the mark means...I hope it is not more about Jacks Tats....!!??

8) We will see and find out what happened to Annie later in the season

-- Nice I was happy to see this and I am assuming this will occur in Ben's FB episode.

9) Rachel Carlson (Juliet's Sister) will be seen again but in another castaway's flashforward

-- Wow I expected to see Rachel again at some point but in a castaway FF is pretty sweet..!!

10) Producers considered bringing in Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje for a cameo in Locke's episode but it seems unlikely and he will be replaced by another dead castaway.

-- Nooooooo!!!!!!! It can't be...!! This is terrible news I am a huge AAA (Eko) fan and this was one thing I was hoping to occur this season....AAA as Mr. Eko in a Locke vision or FB...!! D&C please bring back Eko.....!!

"It's violent. The first episodes have a lot of blood, sweat, tears, running in the jungle and beatings. Everything is in flux because no one has a community anymore. The new arrivals already know most of the facts about the island – and a lot of the why. We won’t find out how they know at first but they’ll arrive and immediately get to work while keeping the Losties busy. Hurley gets caught when he spies on them. Ben is forced to tell the Losties a lot of the secrets of the island. The Losties’ first agenda is to survive – but Ben wants to “save the island”. The Losties will separate when they finally agree with Ben. There will be a lot of fighting – the new arrivals have technology which Ben and the Losties don’t have access to which helps them track their movements. The Losties need to use certain stations and underground tunnels to evade them. The battle will come down to the island’s forces against modern technology.

The producers of Lost offered up a few answers behind the mysteries in season three and a few hints about the upcoming fourth season. The third season drops on DVD on Dec. 11.

Executive producer Carlton Cuse admitted that the people who were on the jet that crashed into the island all have to pay a price for being there. "Yes, and that price is $3.95," he kidded. "In seriousness, the show is about redemption. All the characters on this island are confronting the failures of their past and revisiting issues that go to the core of their emotional make up."

Cuse also 'fessed up about the person in the coffin seen at the very end of season three. Was it someone we've seen before? "Yes," he said without elaboration.

Damon Lindelof, a co-creator and producer, was asked about why the expectations set up for the return of young Walt (Malcolm David Kelley) never seemed to materialize in the third season. Will they be seen again? "Oh, you'll see him again. But you're going to have to be patient. Sorry."

Fans first complained that not enough answers were revealed in the first half of the split-up season, but Cuse said, "We think the balance at the end of the season was right. We see each season of the show like a book. The answers were essential for this book of the show to feel complete."

One of the pressing questions by hardcore fans is how many days the survivors have been on the island. Lindelof said, "By the end of Season Three, the survivors have still be on the island for less than a hundred days ... but don't forget that you may be jumping into the future next year, so anything goes!"

The space-and-time-travel element was explained when the creators nailed down an end-time for the series. "When ABC/Disney allowed us to end the show in 48 more episodes, it was time to begin a new modality of storytelling, which includes flash-forwards," Cused said. "The show is like a mosaic. There are tiles in the present, in the past and now in the future as well. When all the tiles are in place, the story of Lost will be complete."

The third season seems to push Kate (Evangeline Lilly) and Jack (Matthew Fox) even further apart and more toward Sawyer (Josh Holloway), but the last episode muddied the waters a bit. Cuse teased, "The Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle is something that will go on for a long time. And who says they don't have a chance?"

The creators don't think of their characters as ambiguous when it comes to good and evil, specifically Ben (Michael Emerson) and Locke (Terry O'Quinn). "We would use the word complex," Cuse said. "We are interested in exploring how good and evil can be embodied in the same characters and the struggles we all have to overcome the dark parts of our souls."

The unveiling of Jacob, the mysterious leader of the Others, didn't necessarily satisfy questions in season three. "If you felt the unveiling of Jacob provided answers, you are probably in the minority! We felt it was important to introduce Jacob as more than just a name at this point as he will become important downstream," Cuse said. The fourth season of Lost starts Feb. 6.

"Lost" znalazł nowy dzień emisji - informują amerykańskie źródła. Na razie wiadomo tylko tyle, że "Zagubieni" nie będą już emitowani w każdy środowy wieczór. Stacja ABC póki co nie zdradza swoich planów.

- Desmond is solely responsible for the plane crash.
- Pushing the button may indeed save the world. There is a reason they didn't use the fail safe key originally and continued pushing the button.
- Penny is searching for the Island and when Locke didn't push the button her team saw the magnetic disturbance and found location of island. How did Penny even know there was an island to look for? We will find out in future. Since this development there is now a freighter off the island that Penny doesn't know about.
- The island cured Locke of his paralysis but is it permanent?
- Charlie, Nikki, Paulo, Shepard, Mikhail are all DEAD.
- Others use Mittelos Bioscience as a cover when off island. It is not a real company.
- Mittelos is acronym for lost time and we will find out how it relates to the others time off the island in the future.
- The others do not just get in the submarine and travel off the island. The submarine is only a part of the mechanism that allows the others to travel off the island.
- Joked that Marvin Candle, Mark Wickmund, and Edgar Halowax are different people. They are probably same person, but orientation films recorded at different times. In one orientation video he has a fake hand. We will find out more about him and what happened to his hand in the future.
- Island has a very long history. Four toed statue may have something to do with ancient egyptians. Hieroglyphs in countdown timer in Swan a sort of tribute to them.
- Richard Alpert could be 601 years old, but definitely not a day over 602 they joked. Island may effect cells and slow down aging process.
- Dharma brought polar bears to island. Set free when hostiles took over and they bred.
