Wileki spoiler albo wielka bzdura:

10/29 - Carlos, a journalist, reveals: The 1st page of what I read was the production sheet, call sheet or something named like that - I can't remember precisely the right term. In this page, you can find the episode's number and name - in this case, #403 - The Economist, but of course it can be a provisory title. [...] That's where I also got Ken Leugn's character name (Miles) and the information confirming that Jeremy Davies will play Faraday, and Rebecca Mader, Charlotte. That's where I also got the name Elsa, Sayid's girlfriend in his flashforward... The next pages were scripts for episode's scenes. And that's the most important information I could find there: "The Economist" will have Sayid as a main character, and will show his after-island life. We'll be in Germany, and his girlfriend is called Elsa. [...] She seemed very intrigued about Sayid's kinda secret job. He refuses to talk about it, even to her... On the island, there will be a scene in which some losties will go to "Othersville" and will notice some noises. Kate (not Juliet!) will realize that the noise is coming from a house - pointed in the script as Juliet's house, and she'll go and check it. Then, she notices that the sound is coming from the closet; and finally finds Hurley stuck inside. Locke and Sayid are disagreeing about the best way to discover more about the "new visitors": while Sayid wants to go to the ship with Charlotte and appears that she'll get a boat to get back to their HQ, Locke prefers to trust in Ben, who said that he's got a spy on the boat. [...] Freckles will want to go to somewhere - not mentioned on the excerpt I read - but Sawyer, even not wanting her to go, won't stop her; but will also show her his disappointment... This is the juiciest piece of information we gave them: As shocking as these scripts have been for us nothing as shocked us more than the end of episode 7.

Season 4 will begin with air traffic control speaking to the pilot of a plane that is in trouble. It will show both the plane and air traffic control in various shots. This is all done in a way that will make us believe it's NOT the Oceanic flight that Jack, Locke etc were on. Except it is. We'll see the plane crashing into the sea. We'll see the dead bodies of people we know. Then the "Lost" logo will come out of the screen.

Taki poczętek sezonu pobiłby nawet początek sezonu 3! To bylby hardcore, gdyby pokazali katastrofe z punktu widzenia pilotów i stacji lotów, no i martwe ciała... czyżby samolot w "prawdziwej rzeczywistości" się rozbił i naprawde wszyscy umarli, ale przed rozbiciem "przeszedł" w jakiś sposób do równoległego wymairu (wyspy)??

Eps TITLES :
4x01 was "The Beginning of the End"
4x02 was "324 Confirmed dead" (324 pasażerów bylo w samolocie)
4x03 was "The Economist"

It’s hard to fathom that Lost’s fourth season begins in just a little over three months. I guess it’s true that after a few months in seclusion, you acquire a sense that all things are eternal. From this day forward, all Lost geeks can reset their internal cycles and pretend they are just waiting out a slightly longer than normal summer hiatus. And hey, the Lost Season 3 DVD set is coming out in a month, in Blu Ray nonetheless, and Blu Ray players have even come down in price. Not that we endorse that format, or any format as far as that goes, but good enough for Lost, is good enough for me. While we’re waiting for Lost to return, though, maybe it’s time for us to break a little radio silence of our own and do a little theorizing on some of the latest intel to leak out of Lost island.

As you may or may not know, I was recently a visitor to the island that Lost was filmed on, Oahu. Was I there on ‘official’ business, as in business related to the actual production of Lost? That, I seem to have forgotten. Maybe I’ll remember in a month or two. What I can tell you is that during my ‘journey’ there, I did find myself privy to some rumors which seemed ludicrous at the time, but now may be a little closer to reality.

Some of it is not so off the wall. In case you don’t remember, the masters of Lost, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, publicly unleashed a new orientation film at this years Comic-Con that introduced us to a new station called “The Orchid.” At first, the fan base wrestled with whether or not to accept the film as canon, mostly because of Dr. Marvin Candle, under yet another pseudonym, famously dropping the f-bomb.

A new, not so authorized, picture has shown the world that “The Orchid” not only exists, but will be featured around midway through the fourth season. It’s purpose is still unknown, but a curious set of dinosaur-sized bones sticking from the ground stirs memories of a four-toed foot, and questions over just where the rest of that statue is.

In the video, a bunny is apparently duplicated by accident. Now, what is important about this is that Lindelof and company have made a few promises. They have promised no clones. They promised me no twins, or at least that twins were of no importance. But they never said no duplicates from alternate timelines. Although, they have told us that the future, as seen in flash-forwards, is set.

I’m not saying that by process of elimination the producers have begun to present us with the bare bones of the more fantastic elements of the story, but they may have. Then again, there is another aspect to television, particularly of the mystery variety, that is sometimes overlooked completely. It is an illusion.

A good mystery is like a good magic trick. I had a friend who was into street magic. He used to talk about part of the art being creating the question of whether there was a genuine paranormal force involved. If the audience only thinks of it as a trick, they look for the moment they are fooled, or wonder when it took place. Good magic, in other words, depends on good lies. When I found out that the best mind reading acts involved stooges, I thought that was a bit disingenuous. But the trick, according to my friend, is to make the audience wonder how you were able to pull that off without a stooge. If they believed the lie that the stooge wasn’t in on it, the trick was successful because what the magician wants the audience to believe is that he somehow used trickery to create the illusion of mind reading, and not just used a stooge who was in on it. Two principles of magic that translates very well to the way a story is effectively predicted in a production as open to the media as Lost is.

The point of all this? Lindelof and Cuse will never lie to us, but they are masters of semantic illusion. Many theorists are stopped dead in their tracks by what Lost’s writers tell us is accurate, and not. But it would be a mistake to assume that there are any absolutes when it comes to how fine a grain Lost’s-story smiths will winnow out the details of their epic in progress. With The Orchid being canon we know that at least some variation of the concept of duplicating, cloning, or twinism exists in some parallel sensibility, and we also know that the writers have used sly tricks of semantics to avoid admitting that this element exists.

Take comfort that no matter the fact that our crazy theories are shot down, only to be validated through a loop-hole of language, the mission of the Lost crew is to excite, dazzle, and amaze us with a story that in its purest form springs from the unexpected. Even if that requires a little verbal slight-of-hand.

How will the strike affect 'Lost?'
Nov 5, 2007, 03:50 PM | by Lynette Rice

Categories: Strike, TV Biz

So far, the news about what the strike will mean for Lost's return to ABC this winter isn't all that bad, but it could get worse if the picketing persists. According to Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse — who was walking the picket line Monday in front of Burbank's Disney lot with fellow EP Damon Lindelof — ABC will soon have eight episodes in the can that it can begin airing after the first of the year (ABC has yet to announce a start date, though it seems likely the show will return in February). If the strike is prolonged and the scribes can't get back to work writing the rest of the episodes, fans are going to be stuck with the kind of stunted season they were forced to endure last year. "It will feel like buying a Harry Potter book, reading half of it, and then having to put it down for many months," explains Cuse. "There is a cliffhanger at the end of the eighth episode. It will only be frustrating [for viewers] to have to step away from the show and not see the second half of the season.

"The first half of the season, like a good novel, sets all the events of the show in motion and the second half deals with the consequences," Cuse continued. "We're very proud of the first eight but it feels weird to have to stop literally mid-stream."

Question: What does the strike mean for Lost? Any idea how many episodes they finished pre-strike? Is it still scheduled to air some time in February? — Mike

Ausiello: Why do I suddenly feel as if I'm talking to myself, Mike? Why do I also suddenly feel like I'm not going to like what I have to say? At least I know the answer to that second part — it's because I don't like what I have to say. If the strike extends into the new year, there is a slight chance ABC may opt to hold the eight completed episodes until 2009 (that's not a typo). Under that scenario, Lost would have 24 original episodes (eight from this season, 16 from next) that could run uninterrupted from January until May — much like a certain Fox drama that features a ticking clock. Says Lost cocreator Carlton Cuse, "Damon [Lindelof] and my concern about running the episodes we will have made is that it will feel a little like reading half a Harry Potter novel, then having to put it down. There is a mini cliff-hanger at the end of Episode 8, but it's like the end of an exciting book chapter; it's not the end of the novel. Damon and I didn't write [the ending of Episode 8] differently [with the looming strike in mind]. We wrote it to be the ending of Episode 8." In any case, he concedes that the decision to hold or air the episodes isn't ultimately theirs. "It's really [ABC honcho Steve MacPherson's] call," Cuse notes, adding, "No one was happy with the six-episode run last season."

Question: Now that the writers are on strike, whatever will I do to get Lost scoop? — Maribeth

Ausiello: You can ask, for starters. Have I ever let you down? Whenever the current eight episodes air, keep an eye out toward the end of the run for Zoe Bell, whom Carlton Cuse calls "the stuntwoman extraordinaire, from the Tarantino flicks [Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Grindhouse. She definitely will make a splash."

Michael Emerson Interview

You're shooting 407 so that means you're seven episodes into the fourth season?
Yes, there are seven shows I know about that you don't know.

Can you tell me anything about those seven episodes?
Everything is sort of shot out of sequence, so it's all a bit of a blur to me…what can I say about it…I can say it's been really violent. It has been a lot of action. I have spent most of my working days covered in blood and wounds. And there's been a lot more, for my character, a lot more outdoor shooting. We have been shooting in the jungle. Days and nights in the jungle. Artificial rain and many beatings and a lot of gunplay and stuff. It has taken some dark turns. And we have a mess of new characters that I think the audience will be intrigued by.

Can you give us any hints about these new characters?
I can say they are characters that are ambiguous.

Of course.
Some of them have extraordinary powers, and some of them are very dangerous. And also I can say that the new thing that was introduced in the finale of last season is that some of the story is now told in the future.

So we're going to get more future episodes?
Yeah. Now the show is going to dance around. Now the show has three places: present, past, and now future. I think that's really intriguing. I was flabbergasted when I saw the finale because those scenes between Jack and Kate were kept secret from even us. I didn't know about those scenes until it was broadcast. I thought, 'Yes, of course! It's brilliant. It's really brilliant.' It was so poignant. I thought, 'Oh my God, some of them survive but not happily.' I thought, 'That's so grown-up.' And now this is where the writers can make comments about the celebrity culture and tell the truth about some of your greatest challenges are only the beginning of your challenges…and now some people are going to have to cope with loss. Big, big losses. And changes in their lives.

"Zagubieni" dopiero w 2009 roku!
Jeśli strajk scenarzystów seriali amerykańskich przedłuży się do końca roku istnieje zagrożenie, że stacja ABC zablokuje emisję ukończonych 8 odcinków 4. sezonu "Zagubionych", aż do 2009 roku.
Kolejny sezon "Zagubionych" miał rozpocząć się w lutym. Sytuacja jednak ulegnie prawdopodobnie zmianie.

@baku

1. Plany ABC, co do emisji LOST:
http://darkufo.blogs...on-of-lost.html
